No to all, though I wouldn't be happy with some of them. Rather than abandoning them, I would attempt to put them back on the right track.

None of them. Although I'd try to help them out if they were 8, 9, or 10.

If I had one, Under no circumstances would I ever not love my child.  And the only thing that would pain me enough to "disown" them would be if they caused direct serious harm to others through their actions.  My fondest wish for my offspring would be that they grow up to give something back to this world - to make it a better place for future generations.

Being gay, athiest or muslim wouldn't bother me at all as long as they are also active Republicans and working to assist moderate interests within the Party.

If my child became a Democrat, I would not blame or disown them - I would blame myself for not raising them right. Smiley

I've had libertarian, fundy-Christian, and neo-confederate stages during my teen years, so I would probably have home that they would grow out of those.  I can't imagine that any child of mine would ever hate people, hate gays, or hate the United States.

I don't use drugs or alcohol, and would hope to instill those values into my children.  That being said, I would do everything that I could to help them get over their addictions - rather than exacerbate the problem by not providing them the support they would need.

No to all of the above. The only thing I would disown my child for is if he or she were to abstain from voting.

None of these "offenses" are serious enough to deserve disowning. I would be very unhappy about 9, and somewhat mildly unhappy about 3, 4, and 10. The others I have no objection to.

Let me clarify my position on drug use. If my child were a reacreational user, I would b very very angry, but if was caught by addiction, I'd have to bendover to paternal love and helpout.

Being a fundamentalist Christian or a Muslim is more serious than getting an abortion?

Yea same here actually, lest on very specific circumstances, like if your heir tries to murder you, or sleeps with your wife.

Wait, let me get this straight - it's illegal in Germany and Portugal to cut your kid out of your will(at any age, or just when they are a minor)?
