How out of the normal leftist mold of you.  Nixon did tremendous damage in the publics faith in its leaders, particularly the youth of America.  Many of the negative effects of Watergate and the media feast that ensued are still apparent. An extremely unpolular Bush at the end of his term is not going to be good for the country.

Change your name to "Regress" immediately.

Yeah cause I think that war criminals should be locked up for the rest of their lives... *shrugs*

You're not related to Shira or Ct guy by any chance, are you?

What has gone wrong with my state?

It would be best for politics as a whole if he just leaves quietly

We are of the same opinion.

... even if it ment the country went down the sh**ter.

For the great majority of people, the country has been going 'down the sh**tter' for two or three decades now.  Of course, conversely, these have been great times for Bush's constitutency.

George W Bush leaves office as one of the most popular and respected Presidents in history.

He leaves office with the nation enjoying full employment, poverty has been eliminated, the economy is booming, those graduating from post secondary educational institutions is at an all time high, all the children in the country are receiving top level education, everyone in the country shows respect and tolerance for everyone else in the country, bigotry and hatred have been eliminated, discrimination of any kind no longer exists.

Peace has been restored to Iraq.  The insurgency has been crushed.  Iraq is a model of democracy and freedom.

The Arabs and the Jews in the Middle East live side by side in peace and harmony.

The terrorist threat has been eliminated, and is no longer able to disrupt the lives of peace loving people in any part of the world.

And they say Democrats are the dillusional ones.

Well, if you don't like President Bush, wait to you see President Cheney in action.

I think we already have.

Anyway, I just want him to go away quietly as much as I hate him.

I'm not 16.  The way I rebelled was doing coke and screwing strippers.

Funny, that's pretty much what it seems BRTD does.  And who says you can't hold crazy political views in addition to doing those things.  Some people spend their lives rebelling, so a more advanced age does not preclude you from continuing your rebellion.

BTW, I don't think you ever answered answered my question in another thread about Pepe's Pizza.  Have you ever eaten at the one in New Haven?  They're opening up a Pepe's in Fairfield where I live, and I was wondering what you thought of their pizza.  I've heard it's phenomenal, but I've always wondered how good pizza could possibly be.  Do you think it would be worth it for me to try it out?

Alas, I think BRTD only looks at the strippers and rubs his face between their breasts.  Really screwing them is rather a rare occurrence in America - the Big Tease.

Neither am I. I'm 21, and will be 22 in a few weeks.

Funny, that's pretty much what it seems BRTD does.

I've never done coke and I've only had with one stripper.

Alas, I think BRTD only looks at the strippers and rubs his face between their breasts.  Really screwing them is rather a rare occurrence in America - the Big Tease.

Actually as said above I have screwed one although that's because she became a bit of an aquaintance of mine and I've met her around town a few times outside of the club (she lives in my city but her club is in Minneapolis)

Although I am going to Minneapolis tonight and think I might check out a different club, so who knows, maybe this one has better luck. Smiley

I posted about it once here but you know how the prudes would whine if I did more often though.

She's not going to be a stripper for much longer though. She said she's only planning on it for a few more months, since she only started to pay off her credit card debt and save up enough money to go a few months without having to work.

I hope that he leaves office with the strongest economy ever, a perfect situation in Iraq and the Middle East, and with the highest approval ratings of any President in history.

Winfield- I wouldn't be mad at having Cheney president, b/c he's even less popular than Bush. Everyone hates him already, there'd be nothing for liberals to do except sit back and enjoy the festivities.

Opebo- I may hate Bush but I still love my country, no matter what stupid electoral decisions it makes (1980, 2000, 2004)

Master Jedi and Patrick- You either like a president or hate him, or else you're not really into politics. None of this "I didn't like Clinton but I wanted him to succeed, spare me please.

What I meant by that is that I didn't want some of his policies to get through but I didn't want him to screw up the economy and things like that that aren't partasin issues because that will hurt the country. Like Iraq, it shouldn't be a partasin issue (but it is) and people should want us to suceede there so we can have a peaceful democracy there and get our troops home ASAP and it would hurt our country if we failed.

Why?  If you disagree with some things a President does and agree with other things, why can't you be neutral toward them without not being into politics?
