The republican nominee should be chosen by republicans.  Therefore, any non-republican voters vote will be  bar from this weedend's republican primaries and not counted. This is they way  republicans have done it in the past, and no need changing it now.

What about Independents? Should not they be allowed to vote as well... as in most primaries rather than party "caucuses"?

No.  You allowed all non-democrats to vote.

Yes, and that was wrong. If people want to vote in the republican primary they have register as a republican.

We are not allowing UACers, Democrats, Independents, Jesuses or Progressives to vote in this election. Only, and to reemphisize, ONLY republicans can vote in this primary.

Sounds reasonable to me.

Not that I'm a member of your party or anything, and I really don't care, but does Brambila hold any sort of position in your party to spell out the rules???

I know it's kind of ridiculous, but we have one more change of party leadership to report to all you faithfull republicans.

Due to the fact that I am running for president in what promises to be a hotly contested primary battle with Reaganfan, I thought it would be a major conflict of interest to remain the party chairman.  Therefor, I'd like to announce that Josh4Bush will now be taking over as AFRNC chairman.  In addition, Brambila will take the newly created position of Deputy Chairman.

I appologize for the inconvenience.

Yes he helps me out.  But I am over his head.

Well Brambila's kind of started a new Republican Party I think, with a new set of ideals, so I suppose he can make the rules if he pleases.

I think that's pretty cheap that you won't let UAC members vote in your primaries.  Couldn't they vote in the last primaries?
