For a given value of "urban", then. Wink Hmm, the Prairie NDP doesn't sound bad at all. And what did the B.C. NDP do instead - cut governing costs?

Lots of scandals.

Ahh, that's never good. What were the scandals involving, anyway?

Not to mention the ridings high homosexual population. Unfortunately, statistics for such a variabe are hard to find, but it would make an interesting map Cheesy

You mean Bingogate? Or the mess over the Skeena pulp mill? Or the mess over the Ferries? Or... [etc etc repeat ad nasuem...]

IIRC they ran the provinces finances into the ground as well. Not the worst government B.C has ever had. The SoCreds were even worse...

The BC Liberals aren't doing so well either. Unfortunately they were re-elected Sad

The CBC has a Vote by issue quiz thingy at http://www.votebyissue.org/cbc/.  Thio the quiz text doesn't mention it, you can choose to remain undecided on an issue if you want and it will be taken into account at the end.  You can choose to leave one or more of the four main parties out if you want to simplify things, and unless you're favorable to the idea of an independent Quebec, go ahead and drop the BQ from the running and save some time

I really hate those questions. Not only are they confusing, many of them are like "do you agree with such and such providing that such and such" when I agree with the first part and disagree with the second.

Oh, I don't mind the gay-ness of the district. It's the leftism of it that gets to me. Tongue I have no problems voting for a reasonable homosexual over an unreasonable heterosexual. Reminds me of the Public Regulation Commission 3 race in New Mexico a few years back, where if I had been in that district I would've voted for moderate Democrat (and lesbian) Liz Stefanics versus that corrupt old boy from Northern New Mexico Jerome Block. Same thing for her race in 2000 against another shady northern Dem, Phil Griego in State Senate District 49. She lost both of those, unfortunately, and yes, her lesbianism was used against her by the other Democrat in at least the latter race and probably the former.

And it would make an interesting map. Cheesy

Prairie NDP...maybe. I have been reading what Al and others have said about them, and that's a possibility. Urban NDP...doesn't sound like it. Yes, BRTD, the urban areas of Canada are Not My Friends Politically. Tongue

Prairie NDP = Al
Uruban NDP = jfern

to sum it up.
