If you exclude an undefeated team from the championship game or playoff, you are not getting a real national champion.

I oppose a playoff altogether.  Why is there an obsession with having a National Champion?  Why is there and obsession with making college football like every other sport?  By emphasizing the one National Championship game, you are degrading the other games.  Who cares about the Orange Bowl except FSU & PSU alums and football nuts?  No one, because the Championship is out in Pasadena.  The National Title game is all that matter now, and that lessens the importance of the other Bowls, weakening the sport.  Not to mention it ruins the regular season if you add a playoff because the pressure is not on in every game the way it is now.

No.  Of course, who cares about college ball anyway?  Wink

Normal people. The No Fun League sucks.

Between LSU and the Saints, who has a better chance at going to the playoffs / bowl game? Saints are doing bad, but LSU has been doing pretty good (at least until this past weekend).

If the Saints were doing good and LSU was doing bad, I would care about the NFL more. (And No Fun League is accurate, though based on the officiating No F***ing way League is also accurate.)

They do have the constitutional right to do so, but I don't think it would be wise. (Voting no.)
