Once again I really don't like these black or white, good or bad posts, but I believe that keynsianism is the right economic policy at times, but not all the time.

Generally approve; not perfect (far from it) and he certainly made some mistakes, but while he didn't live in the real world, unlike most economists he was at least aware that it existed.

Great man

Invented the wonderful art of government invertention in economics, which has since minimized the impact of troughs in the business cycle and faciliated a gentler, and kinder to the working class, market.

If you knew anything about Keynes, you would know he formulated his economic theory in reaction to the Great Depression, to avoid any repeat of it from recurring.

This is a ridiculously simplistic poll, but I vote Freedom Fighter.

Freedom fighter. An excellent economist. Economic theories are always overly simplistic models of how the "real world" works but Keynes was definitely one of the best.

Some of his economic ideas were absolutely ridiculous. Horrible person, but to his credit, he did realize that a lot of the "New Deal" was complete crap.

While Keynes theories may have been policies that could help a nation suffering through the Great Depression the extrapolation of his ideas into the modern globalising economy has lead to the stagnant economic growth of so-called "social market" economies in Europe.

His ideas may have been suited to trying to give the government something to do to try to ameliorate the people's desire for government to make things all better but now I believe that they only promote the stagnation of growth, the decreasing of productivity and limiting capital for business expansion.
