Though a few on the other side may be acting in their own interests, the vast majority or not.  Is this self-destructive behaviour a mental-illness?  I'm no psychiatrist (though that would be one of the few appealing professions!) but I would say that there is something wrong with their mental functioning.

Interests and preferences are not the same thing, prude.  But I understand your point - because you are all masochists voting against your interests is your preference.  Fair enough!  Enjoy getting poorer and less free. Smiley

Wrong as usual, prude. Interests are determined by preferences.

Also, under the systems you propose I believe I'd be poorer and less free, so clearly it is in my interest to vote against such system.
