Whilst I am an environmentalist, this bill has some obvious flaws. I suggest, Joe, that you veto it, and to Jedi, I ask that he introduces a similar bill with less problems.

I join my friends in asking the President veto this bill.

The only 'obvious flaw' I can see in this bill is the one that Senator Ebowed has highlighted.  However, I believe that the good that this bill will achieve far outweighs the bad aspects, and therefore I will happily sign it into law.

I see challanges on the way

C'mon, this one is blatantly unconstitutional.
Excessive fines imposed.
I'm not sure I'm gonna bother though.

If I were Senator, I might have advised the Senate to keep in mind the cost of implementing Section 3 in comparison to what the fees would regain in costs and the potential for a black market in terms of so-called "invasive species".  In fact, I would have asked the Senate for a clearer definition and list of invasive species, period, instead of what is presently listed.

That's about all I'll say before getting into GM territory.

I actually don't think Bono's case here is that good, even if, but especially since KEmperor left the court.

I am convinced that Section 1, Subsections D and E and Section 2, Subsection E of the Species Bill of 2005 violate Article VI, Section 12 of the Second Constitution of the Republic of Atlasia.

I'm not a lawyer, so I am willing to hire someone to go before the Supreme Court. Bono?

Please do.  Unlike some others around this joint, I actually want to see more Supreme Court lawsuits, so precedent (separate of US precedent) can be hammered out in our legal interpretation.
