If you had the opportunity to do your vote over again, whom would you have preferred as the Democratic presidential nominee?

And given that people here would have liked to vote for more than one candidate, I have made this a preference vote.

For my part, I originally backed Howard Dean and later Dennis Kucinich, but if I had to go back and redo my vote, I would have instead have backed either Gephardt or Lieberman.

I backed Edwards by the time the primaries rolled around, and stand by my support for him if I was do live it against becuase I think in the end, he'd have had the best chance to win.

Umm well that surely is an ideological shift... Advocate of the Department of Peace to the war's #1 cheerleader.

Dean or Clark though I liked Edwards too.
If Kucinich or Braun had even a remote chance at winning they would get my support.

Lieberman or Gephardt... though out of the choices on offer i don't think Kerry was that bad.

Gephardt and Clark.

If neither would have won, I'd have voted for Dean, just to have our own Barry Goldwater-esque candidate.

I supported Clark until he dropped out, then Edwards until Kerry clinched it.  In retrospect, I would have done the same thing again.
