Hi,
Since we have a lot of enthusiastic European members of the forum, I would like to solicit feedback on whether you would like European avatars (any Canadians?).
If this is done, I would like to keep it simple - for example, keep the parties in-line with the U.S. system (i.e. align your political party with the U.S. Equivalent) - D, R, I and at the country-level using the two-letter internet code for your country (e.g. D-UK, R-DE, D-SE, etc.) Some of these may intersect with US abbreviations, but that's ok since the maps will be different.

I would be in favor of it. That is of course, if our European friends are.

Yes, excellent idea! D-UK please!
I suspect you won't get many R's though! :-)

Yes, I think this is a great idea. So many of the foreign members have chosen state avatars its hard to tell who is American and who is not.

You find it hard to read the small print?
No, just kidding. Can I have an India one or, better still, one for my home state Hessen?

Yes, that's true, but the number of forum members from these places is rather low...in fact I don't think we've had any so far, which is probably the reason for it not being brought up. Though I think some MExican guy joined recently. If there's interest I agree that they have equal rights to avatars.
