I'm assuming all Republican states will go Conservative, plus in states like Michigan, Oregon, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Washington there would be very heavy vote splitting between the NDP and the Liberals.

I'd pick Martin (I think), but Harper would probably win and not be that bad.

Harper would win my vote.

Its an interesting question and depends on how you translate their politics to ours.  If we are to just switch their parties to American versions, then obviously only Martin and Harper would be contenders and the rest would be left behind.  If we move some of their party support with them, then you could make the case that Layton would hurt the Dems in Michigan and Ohio and Duceppe would make wierd things happen in Louisiana.   The Green Party would hurt the Dems in certain sections of the northeast. (Remember that the Canadian Greens aren't the kind of left-wingers that ours are).

Earl put Harper as the Republican in the poll, that explains it.
