As things stand, it would be highly impractical to attempt the abolition of public schools. So no.

In theory, however, yes: public schools should be privatized.

Should we have vouchers that allow poor students to have the same opportunities as the children of the wealthy? Of course.

Should we abolish public schools outright? Hell no!

No, public schools should not be abolished.

But we should provide an escape hatch for children in failing public schools.

No. We should improve public schools rather than dismantle them or privatize them by vouchers.

I think Philip should be privatized. A private for-profit Philip would be more efficient and less annoying and trollish than a government-run Philip.

Cause its socialism in Education...

And of course it shouldn't be.  It merely should be extended from pre-K till college and extended so that students attend classes 230 days a year.

Then why did you vote against the school choice inciative?

I'd have to agree, a lot of Government programs have rooted themselves deep, it will take a lot of work to privatize them.

No, private schools and home-schooling ought to be abolished.

The education system in this country needs a complete overhaul--but getting rid of public schools isn't really the answer.

Public Screwls should be abolished, preferably by blowing them up, because they indoctrinate instead of teach. However I hear that the sex within the schools is pretty good. Perhaps you democrats just want your kids to get laid.

Ideally, yes. However, the chances of that happening in the immediate future are small.

Heck, both abolishment acts failed miserably in the Midwest region of Atlasia, which is stuffed full of us crazy libertarian-ish sorts Tongue.

Yes.  The world would be a lot better off if we got rid of Eton, Rugby, and the rest of the English public schools. Wink
