One minor hitch... I clicked your link, was asked to login, successfully logged in and was redirected to a page that didn't link to Senate predictions (it did to Governor predictions, and to 2004, and...) I was still able to make a prediction though, I just had to return to the forum and click the link again.

I had the same problem. But it worked out for me too. I don't get one thing about the polls though. Some states seem to be listed as leans even though they have only one poll. And there are too few states overall I think?

I'm pretty sure the default settings are based off the 2000 race.  So a race which is expected to be a blowout this year may only be listed as a tossup or lean because it was fairly close in 2000.  And a race which is expected to be real close this year may be listed as a lean or even strong depending in the 2000 results.

I wonder if there will be a house version.

That would probably be much more difficult, as Dave wouldn't be able to easily use the mapmaking functionality on the site (given that you couldn't simply shade a state a single percentage).

Plus, there are 435 races there.  I don't think many people have the time to make 435 predictions.

The vast majority of those 435 are not seriously contested.  I wonder if dave could set up maybe a 50 seat one.

The scores have been tabulated for the 2006 Senatorial Predictions.  These are preliminary ans subject to change.  No perfect scores - Top overall to thepolitic (I-CT) and snowguy716 (D-MN) each with a score of 57.

Something's wrong with your score calaculator: It's showing my final prediction as having a score of 0.  I'm not certain about the percentages but I got all 33 states correct as to who won.  It appears that only people who made a single prediction got their scores tabulated.

If I'd been more optimistic over Virginia, I'd have got all winners right. Sigh.
