You should recount it. If Peter's right it fails and if you're right Defarge needs to break it.

Hope this helps: (I didn’t look to see who was right, just quoted all the votes)

Although I oppose the bill itself, I will vote aye on the amendment.

Nay.  It's an utterly silly alteration whose only purpose is to make this amendment not get its due consideration.
You already called a vote, anyway I vote Nay.

Let me pick apart this bill and tell you why I believe it should be voted down:

The Children's Rights Amendment

Section 1: The term "child" shall be defined as a minor under the age of 16.

Section 4: The Senate shall have power to limit, regulate, and prohibit the labor of children.

Why?  My propositions didn't even get one signature!  What has the Regions done that would validate taking away more of their rights?  Absolutely nothing that I can see, it's just my position that they Government shouldn't be telling anybody that they can work or not, not the Midwestern Regions.

This effectively does absolutely nothing, you know.

Well then, the power of the Region Governments is impaired, don't kid yourselves.  Anyone who votes for this is voting for more Federal power, plain and simple.  The whole point of Regional rights is so that where Federal Government would do something you and your Region wouldn't like, then you can do something different at a Regional level, and Regions that do support it can do that at their Regional level.  Think about it, if you pass this, my proposition could very well pass at a Federal level, and there would be nothing any of the Regions could do about it.

I'm not going to vote for it.  I just don't agree with pasting on stupid amendments to make it so a bill or amendment doesn't get its fair consideration.

Well, PBrunsel's amendment already failed, I think we're gonna be voting on the actual Constitutional Amendment now.

Yeah, I was just seeing if anyone wanted to add another amendment to it or not.

I call a vote on the final thing

Nay

I think things are fine the way they are now, child labor legalization or public school abolition will probably never pass in any regions anyway.

Nay for the record.

I'm sorry I missed this important vote.

I thank all of you for standing up for Regional rights, even when we may do things you don't approve of.  Thank you.
