Jamie Sullivan (D) vs. Hilary Faye (R)

This is the battle of the Mandy Moore movie characters.  Jamie Sullivan was the preacher's daughter in the movie _A Walk To Remember_.  Hilary Faye was the ultra-right-wing bully in the movie _Saved!_.  Whom would you vote for?  Who wins?

I'd vote for Jamie Sullivan, and she'd win in a landslide.  Her down-to-earth nature would give her great populist credibility.  Since she's from North Carolina and religious, she easily wins this state and breaks the usual Republican lock on the South.  Hilary Faye's shrillness would turn off lots of voters, even many who normally vote Republican.  Hilary tries to steal Ohio and Florida but gets caught, and this backfires even more.  Even firing a gun in _Saved!_ isn't enough to redeem her in the Rocky Mountain states.

The only states that Hilary Faye would win are:
1.  Utah: ultra rightwing and the most heavily Republican state
2.  Idaho: ultra rightwing and the second most heavily Republican state
3.  Texas: ultra rightwing and home of George W. Bush
4.  Mississippi: ultra rightwing and home of Trent Lott
5.  Alabama: ultra rightwing and home of Roy Moore
6.  Kansas: Hilary Faye proclaims, "Jamie Sullivan is soft on infidels who believe in evolution!"
