Well, first I'd check under her hood, make sure the engine is running OK.  Get a maintenance report, check the history of everything. Do a little test drive, make sure the brakes are solid.

Maybe kick her a few times, just to make sure nothing falls off and she's trying to pass herself off as a quality vehicle when she's really a piece of crap.

Yeah, that's what I'd do.
