Would Senator Bob Graham of Florida, who was briefly a candidate for the presidential nomination, and among the contenders for Kerry's running mate, have helped Kerry to win that state?

"Won in Florida" or "won nationally"? 5 points is a bit too much of a gap, so if the campaign had panned out much as it did, except with Graham rather than Edwards as the Dem runningmate, no they probably would not have carried Florida.

If Graham had been on the ticket,  Florida would have been closer but I still feel Bush would have won the state thanks to his brothers popularity as governor.
