If you voted on economic issues...

I'd be firmly in the DLC-camp.

Which is part of the reason I quit the GOP and joined the dems.

I liked the "midwestern/western/libertarain/secualar" style conservatives which used to have influence in the party.  The "southern/authoritarian/hyperfundementalist" type just disgusts me.

It sucks.  You guys lost your party and we lost ours.  I look forward to the day where Republicans can be Republicans and Democrats can be Democrats instead of the insane versus the sane.  =)

Normal Democrats of course - there is no economic difference between the 'DLC' and the Gop.  Even the normal Democrats are leaning center-right anyway.

DLC Democrats kiss too much corporate ass for my taste, although they are way better than Republicans.

Tough one...  The DLC really has members from all sides of the political spectrum.  On one hand you have the center, maybe even center-right group like Ben Nelson and Evan Bayh.  On the other hand you have the center-left group like Mark Warner and Bill Clinton.  Finally you have the left of left-center group like John Edwards and John Kerry.

Id most definitely be a swing vote, but would probably side with the DLC more times than not.  Some of the non-DLC democrats in the house and senate would have no problem restoring Roosevelt-like marginal tax rates.

My main problem with the DLC is trade.

Eh, Ill vote DLC in this poll.

The Democratic leadership council

Essentially, a number of centrist Democratic pragmaitists somewhat similar to the "Rockefeller Republicans" of the 60's and 70's.

Economics Only?

Democrat, perhaps supporting Socialist and Green candidates every so often when the overall race isn't close.
