Take the quiz before answering the poll question.

I apparently agreed most with Paul Martin......

6-6 Harper
6-6 Duceppe
2-10 Layton
5-7 Martin

I agreed with Harper and Duceppe on the most important issues (provinces, defense spending, Parliamentary reform, and taxes).

I'd vote Duceppe (Quebec) or Harper (elsewhere) BTW.

Agreed with Paul Martin the most.

I still haven't made up my mind yet for the real election, though.  I'm thinking of voting Green just as a protest vote because I don't feel like voting for anyone else.  It's not like Gary Lunn is going to lose, either way.

Good choice Gabu, I would vote Green as well if I lived in your riding.

If I lived in Canada I'd vote for Paul Martin (horror!)

But according to this quiz, I agree with Jack Layton of NDP the most.

Layton 9-3
Martin 6-6
Harper 5-7  (I agreed with him on cutting foreign aid thats for sure)
Duceppe 2-10   (Mais J'adore les persons Français!)

It was hard to decide on some issues, like I didn't know what the GST was. The weirdest one was "Should we increase our slaughter capacity?" WTF?

"GST" stands for "Goods and Services Tax".  It's a (currently 7%) sales tax added onto any sale of a good or a service.

The weirdest one was "Should we increase our slaughter capacity?" WTF?

I believe that has to do with the slaughter of cows, i.e., the production of beef, not with what you're thinking of.

As usual, apparently, in tests like these in countries with separatist movements (ahem...UK...ahem) , I end up being told to support them even if I don't.
Really. It's so totally a pattern.
Duceppe on 8
Layton on 7
Martin on 6
Harper on 2

I agreed with:

Stephen Harper on 10 issues Foreign Aid, National Security, Economic Growth, Employment Insurance, Child Care, Gun Control, Defence Spending, Farming, Relations with the provinces, Healthcare Funding

Jack Layton on 10 issues Foreign Aid, National Security, Economic Growth, Employment Insurance, Taxes, Gun Control, Defence Spending, Farming, Relations with the provinces, Healthcare Funding

So it's a tie with the Conservative Party and the New Democratic Party; however, taking into considering disagreements, I disagree with Harper on more important issues than Layton, so I vote Layton

You agree too much. That's 33 agreements out of 48 excuses for positions!
I had 23 and I was being rather more allowing than usual...

EWWWW, here are the results:

I agreed with:

Harper 9 times
Martin 8 times
Duceppe 6 times
Layton 5 times

I disagreed with:

Layton 7 times
Duceppe 6 times
Martin 4 times
Harper 3 times

I feel unclean now. Gotta wash the horrible influence of Paul Martin off of me.
