All of the above. The federal government should not officially recognize any holidays (but, in particular, it should not recognize religious holidays such as Christmas).

To the contrary, add more!  Though I dislike for things to be closed - just require that people working during holidays recieve double-time.

Not ban--merely end federal recognition.

If we have to retain a few holidays, I suggest that we keep MLK Day to annoy the conservatives and Columbus Day to annoy the liberals.

I'm agreeing with Opebo here.... I like holidays. I just wish I got off on all of these days.

I didn't say that federal recognition of holidays is unconstitutional. I merely noted that I believe that it is not the government's job to designate holidays: let the people celebrate or not celebrate as they please.
