The last thing I've listened to seemed to be a Polish or maybe Czech version of Sittin at the Dock of the Bay, sung and played on the guitar by a busker on Hauptwache.

"Wait in a Line" (The Faint Mix) - by Now It's Overhead

Now It's Overhead is a great Athens, GA band.  You should check them out if you've never heard of them....

Ben Taylor, Another Run Around the Sun, but only because my wife put it on. It's okay, but not my preference.

I agree, it's absolutely brilliant. I'm surprised they didn't release it as a single. Or did they?

Yeah, they did, but it was too slow to get radio play as much as Float On or Ocean Breathes Salty, so it never was really that successful. I never heard it on the radio, which is why I don't listen to the radio.

Why is it that whenever I post here someone is listening to the same band on that page?

I had been talking to Glenn Jones (guitarist for  Cul De Sac) at Terrastock, and we had a  wonderful conversation about CDS' work with John Fahey in "The Epiphany of Glenn Jones," and the entire process behind it. An intense, frustrating project, but well worth it.

Amazing solo acoustic guitarist, by the way.
