My vision sucks. Contacts. I'm supposed to take them out at night, but I never do, so if one day I stop posting, I probably went blind.

Glasses. I used contacts for a while, and I tend to switch depending on my lifestyle.

I am a glasses guy. My vision isn't exceptionally bad, but one eye is nearsighted.

I wear glasses because I am near sighted. However, I only wear them if I have to drive somewhere looking at signs, going to the movies, or watching television.

I have 20/20 sight, so aid is not necessary for me, but I like the look of glasses. It works well for me.

My eyesight. Not good. I can't see too well out of the corner of my right eye, which explains what happened to me this morning. It ain't ever happened before

I was coming out of the bus station this morning and I tripped over a blind lady's stick Sad. I just didn't see her coming on my right. It was awful because it gave her a fright. I apologised. I felt a right arse nevertheless

I need glasses for TV and teletext  - but after today's sorry little episode, I guess I need a new eye test

I am slightly nearsighted (20/30), so I have to use glasses while I drive.  Otherwise, 20/20.

I wear contacts during the day and only use glasses for a few minutes at night.

I wear glasses.  Last time I was checked, I had 100/20 vision in both eyes.  Nothing too bad, but it makes me just barely unable to read text on chalkboards and road signs.  I generally only wear my glasses when at school, when driving, or when playing a video game (because the small text can be kind of hard to read from my chair).

ouch, I couldn't keep them in over night.  I can sleep for a nap, and then wake up and put drops in, but sleeping seems quite harsh.

I have glasses right now, though sooner or later I will need contacts because my glasses have been getting progressively thicker (and more annoying to wear).

I know the feeling (when I'm trying to play guitar and read music and the damn things keep falling off)

My eyes were at one time 20/100 (right) and 20/70 (left), but I know they've gotten worse since then (that was about two prescriptions ago).  Luckily, they haven't gotten worse since about 7th or 8th grade Smiley

I'm legally blind without correction -- 20/900 in my left eye and 20/800 in my right.  They can be corrected to around 20/30 with contacts, so not too bad considering how crappy they are.

I've never heard of eyesight that bad before.

Perfect vision in my left eye and I am longsighted in my right eye so I wear reading glasses. No clue what it means in terms of these 20/20 numbers or whatever, I know that the lens is a +2.00 or something.

The "x/y" notation for describing eyesight describes how you compare with someone with perfect eyesight.  The one with perfect eyesight is always on the left.  If you have, for example, 100/20 eyesight, that means that someone with perfect eyesight can read something from 100 meters away, while you have to be 20 meters away.  If the left number is greater than the right, you're nearsighted; if the right number is greater, you're farsighted.

I'm about 20/400 so I wear glasses.  Touching my eyes weirds me out.

Wow, I am too.  I'm not sure of the numbering system, but I think mine are around 1000, though I have heard some doctors use 10,000.
