Article 1, Section 2, Clause 4: No person shall be Senator who has not attained  thirty or more posts at the forum, and does not live within the region or district they represent. Their avatar must be in place indicating a state from his or her region or district.

I propose a call to vote to change Article 1, Section 2, Clause 4 to:

The Constitution explicitly states, in Article 1, Section 2, Clause 4: No person shall be Senator who has not attained  thirty or more posts at the forum, and does not live within the region or district they represent. Their must be in place in either their avatar or signature indicating a state from his or her region or district.

The first word in the last sentence should be understood as 'there' not 'their', right? Since the exact wording of constiuttional amendments can be pretty important... Wink

Is there a thread to sticky? I would prefer if you would get your act together (no pun intended...) on the current bills/amendments/etc first, or we will get too many stickies.

I would also point out that unless this amendment passes, both Shapeshifter and Boss Tweed are still in violation of the Consitution.

Yes but apparantly that does not matter, as the Supreme Court has ruled that a text message in the signature fulfills the Constitutional requirement.

Which makes me wonder why this amendment is deemed necessary...I suppose to ensure that a future Supreme Court will not reverse the ruling of the present Court.

Its sort of analogous to George Bush's proposed Marriage Amendment.
