Since jfern won't show, here's his proof:

""Based on a very long and thoughtful analysis of the record and transcript ... I've decided that I will vote no on cloture," Feinstein, the only female member of the Judiciary Committee, said in a statement. Cloture would end debate and bring the nomination to a vote."

i dont think itll come to a cloture vote.

I disagree.  I think many Senators would like to try to give the boost of a vote on Alito before his SOTU address, so it'll have to come Monday.  Gives him a nice line or two for the speech.  I don't have an exact guess about how many votes they'll get though, but since it takes at least sixty for cloture, they'll get at least sixty.

My guess would be that Feinstein would vote for cloture, but Boxer will not.

No, even moderates like DiFi are on board.

She's hadly a moderate and they are losing people like Mikulski.  A filibuster with the minority the name "Obstrutocrats" and fail, even without the "Constitutional Option."

DiFi is no liberal, she voted against the Clinton health care plan and for the Iraq war.

And Mikulski's a conservative?
