Well, 'morality' doesn't exist, but I would sacrifice it for all sorts of things, most importantly political expediency, so I voted 'yes'.

For example, GDP growth might be best maximized by 'laissez-faire' capitalism, but 90% of the people live in misery and desperation under that system.  Would it be worth slightly lower growth to set up a system were everyone is fairly comfortable, say on the Swedish model?

GDP growth is not a very good measure of economic wellbeing anyways, so obviously yes.

Not sure what you mean by "morality" because it's a broad based term.  If you're talking about supply side/Reaganomics being morally wrong even though the GDP will grow then yes.
