Stephen Harper is the same politician who used to be deomnized by the Canadian and international media by his allegdely "extremist" positions, and criticized from within his own party for being too far right and favoring the US Republican Party model.
The results of that "radicalism" are now showing.

It'd be good if someone reminded David Cameron of that.

It'd be good if someone reminded David Cameron of that.

1. Harper didn't win, he just lost less, so to speak.

Anyone who makes that statement cannot thereafter claim to know a single thing about why Harper won (I use the word "won" loosely here).

The fact that ~60% of people found Harper "scary" tells me that the majority of people do not exactly think that he's the best thing that ever happened to Canada.
