I hope she wins the nomination (unlikely, of course, even in California most Democrats retain enough rationality not to vote for her... I think). She'd lose. Although she could end up as congresswoman from Berzerkeley...

Dan, did you get the "Berzerkeley" phrase from me?  If so, I'm flattered.  If not, I'll just say -- great minds think alike.  I've been using it too.  I think it's very accurate.

Yeah. I normally use 'People's Republic of Berkeley' or something like that - although that really works better for the People's Republic of San Francisco and the local DC/Maryland area communist statelet, the People's Republic of Takoma Park.

Whats Takoma Park?

I've lost pretty much any respect I had for Sheehan. This and the Chavez visit are too much.

Takoma Park is a city in southeastern Montgomery County, Maryland, just east of Silver Spring and at the border with Prince George's County and DC. It has a reputation of passing things like anti-nuclear-power resolutions, anti-war stuff, and just being home to a large number of loonies (even more than the rest of Montgomery County - I'd assert that in this area only Georgetown matches it in sheer latte liberal mass - and this area is loaded with latte liberals!).
