You've just been elected POTUS and have the job of running the country.  Who do you bring in as advisers?  Are you more from the GHW Bush or GW Bush school of council?

Mine:
Pat Buchanan
Ron Paul
Wes Clark
Bernie Sanders

I'd surround myself with a bunch of people who agree with me on basically every issue.

Gonna smack me for him but not Ron Paul?

A bunch of yes men don't get you anywhere and as a loyal McLaughlin Group watcher I've developed a respect for Buchanon.  I generally respect the paelo conservatives a lot more than the neocons...

I do however reserve the right to punch him in the eye for any racist comments. =)

Not bad but I'd swap Lieberman for Chaffee and McCain for Hagel. =)

It would be but I should add another liberal to balance it out.  It's a shame Wellstone isn't alive. Even though I dislike him, let's go with Chuck Schumer.

Ha ha ha thats hysterical.

I'd give a seat at the table to:

Henry Wallace   (It didn't say they had to be alive today)
Dick Durbin
Wesley Clark
Howard Dean
Paul Martin (Poor guy must need a job these days)
Colin Powell
Roy Barnes or Mitch Landrieu
Tom Kean (To keep him out of the Senate)
