Unless I've missed something, what sparked that little outburst was the following answer given at PMQ's the other day...

"It is rather important that the government of Venezuela realise that if they want to be respected members of the international community they should abide by the rules of the international community.
I also have to say with the greatest respect to the president of Venezuela that when he forms an alliance with Cuba I would prefer to see Cuba a proper functioning democracy."


Not sure if Chavez's response counts as either delirious or "straight talking", but it's certainly pretty immature... talking of immaturity, as this is a Campo Chavez story I must continue to post certain photos of him... Wink
