It seems odd. Peter said that most of the non-Blairite leftist in Labour are more populists rather than the radical-leftist types Americans would expect. She obviously wouldn't be a Tory, and is too far left for the Lib Dems. So what party would she and her ilk be in?

The whole reason I asked this was simply because I was wondering how British politics work if the far left of the Democrats don't really fit in any of the main parties.

I didn't start the FF/HP threads, nor did I start by far the two worst copycat trends, the flag polls and pronounciation threads. The only real trend I've ever started is opebo vs. ___________ what ifs, and we have a whole forum for those now.
