The RNC should consider Keystone Phil's contribution to the party, and hold the convention in Philadelphia, and they should ask Keystone Phil to be the keynote speaker at the convention.

Who better to be the KEYnote speaker than KEYstone Phil?

It's destiny.

Phil, start working on your speech.

Phil : my favorite politician is Rick Santorum.

that wont go down well.

The Republicans ought to go for Phoenix. Republican-leaning swing area, might appeal to Hispanics. Alternatively, Denver, Orlando, Minneapolis, and maybe Charlotte sound like good choices.

It would be hilarious if the GOP hold their convention in either San Francisco, Portland, or Seattle -the most liberal cities in the United States.

Seriously, either Phoenix, Dallas, Charlotte, Atlanta, or San Diego would work fine.  They (the ones I listed) are all good choices.

I like Charlotte or Dallas for the Dems. Smiley

The deadline has passed.

The bidders are:

Cleveland, Ohio
Minneapolis, Minnasota
New York, New York
Tampa/St. Peterburgh, Florida

I want Tampa but would be satisfied with Cleveland.

Cleveland and Minneapolis seem to be the best possible choices.

I hope it is Minneapolis or Cleveland because there are more people to protest.

The RNC should get their act together. They held the 04' convention in NYC, which was either a display of arrogance or a display of idiocy. I'm guessing both. I think that Nashville would be a good place for the RNC convention, a lot of entertainment around...good amount of Republicans to attend. I acctually hope that a convention goes to Seattle in 08'. I'm going to visit some old friends around convention time.
