In America the currency has the phrase in god we trust.
In Britain the currency has a picture celebrating Charles Darwins work.

Two similar countries but with very different beliefs. Britain has more confidence in Science than Religion. America has more confidence in Relgion than Science.

Britain has lower teen pregnancy, abortions, murder, gun crimes and poverty rates. Britain is ranked higher in Math, Reading , Spelling and Writing than the US. Is one of the reasons for this because Britain has given up on religion and put its faith in Science.

When you go looking for a spouse one quality you wish for is reliability. Science is more reliable than religion. Relationships that are successful are based on reason not on rigid facts that cant be questioned.

What would the reaction be from the far right if Darwin was on Americas money instead of God? Would they do what secular people are doing? Would Fox and Talk Radio sit and mock these people that have given up on something that cant be proven with good valid reasoning.

Common sense tells us that they is no god. But also if their wasnt a god, its best to make one up anyway. You arent born believing in god it is installed in you either from an early age through parental supression or if your life is in complete chaos and is a last hope. Church is also for lonely people who have no fulfillment in their lifes. they cant enjoy the pleasures of life as they may not be able to afford it or have never expeirenced what real happiness is. Many marriages fail because one no-longer enjoys have sex. The church is an incredible successful machin but if you open your eyes or allow your children to choose their own course in life they will see religion as a defiance to common sense.

False dichtomy.

Although I suppose it's not if you're one of those idiots that believes the Earth is 6000 years old and dinosaurs lived at the same time as humans.

...Nomo, there's a rather large flaw in you're argument; most people in Britain are still religious (check the census if you don't believe me) it's just that the nature of religion in Britain has changed so much during the past few decades.
Oh and another flaw... if a recent poll is correct, then only a minority of Britons actually believe in the theory of Evolution...
