One Night at McCool's, 2001 film with Matt Dillion, Michael Douglas, Paul Riser, and Liv Tyler. Hilarious black comedy. Classic for me.

"Renegades", 1989 film starring Kiefer Sutherland as a Philadelphia cop teamed up with an Indian played by Lou Diamond Phillips. Good action flick.

"The End", a 1978 black comedy about a man (Burt Reynolds) who finds out he is dying of a toxic blood disease and tries to find ways of killing himself. Great film.

Patriot Games.

Good action, and the IRA got their asses kicked. Good fun.

My Bloody Valentine 3D

Decent, silly fun. The glasses started bugging my eyes after a while though. They probably should have just put the action sequences in 3D.

Stakeout, 1987, action/comedy flick with Richard Dreyfuss, Emilio Estevez, and the stunningly sexy Madeline Stowe. Classic 80s flick!

Wow, that Stakeout sounds good.

Well I just saw that 'Star Trek' - I happened to be in bangkok and a 21 year old ex-student of mine took me to it.  And she paid!  It was an enjoyable movie, though obviously continuity and believability were not very well done.

The Cowboy Way, a 1994 action/comedy film about Kiefer Sutherland and Woody Harrelson as two New Mexican cowboys who end up in New York searching for a friend. Excellent.

A great political thriller. Now I just need to see the BBC version.

My only real big problem with State of Play is the ending basically downgraded the whole scope of the story. They had this huge conspiracy going on and then kind of threw it all away.

Night at the Museum 2 - Pretty good, a little better than the first one.  Hank Azaria and Amy Adams were both fantastic.

I disagree, actually. The conspiracy theory was hard to believe and the ending made the story both more interesting and more realistic.

Yea, I completely agree. The way they were going with the story was somewhat predictable but then they just flipped it all around.

Twelve Monkeys, 1995 film starring Bruce Willis as a man in the year 2035 who is sent back to 1996 to find the origin of a virus that killed 5 billion people. Time travel is tricky, and he is accidentally sent to 1990 and meets prison psychiatrist Madeline Stowe.

Finally downloaded Slumdog. Have to say that it lived up to a lot of the hype. Glad I stayed away from talking about the plot.

Star Trek - Very, very good.  Having Nimoy was a huge victory for them.
