Gettysburg, I watched it on Friday the 166th anniversary of the last day of the battle. Not very appealing to many on here I am sure.

Burn!

Interesting movie despite being somewhat low budget and the problems with the movie mentioned in the wikipedia page above. Brando is always a great actor and the storyline is fairly appealing to me more than making up for those problems.

"Hotel Rwanda" yesterday. Not a great movie, but touching.

Why is it not a good movie? I found it very moving, so I agree with the second half.

hmmm probably either Scarface or Burn! probably the latter but both are great movies. I see why people think Brando was such a good actor. The plot maybe boring in Burn! but its moving and Brando could bring any character to life.

Among "real" movies, probably Gran Torino, which was good. I hadn't seen it before then.

The King's Speech

I finally got a chance to see this film. Positively splendid if I do say so myself.

Extended version of Gettysburg which I had recored off TNT onto VHS back in 2007. It has commercials and between that and the extended length, it is six hours long. I started it at almost 10 PM last night and watched the whole thing.
