I got around to watching Castaway not too long ago.  Excellent movie, I must say.

I was flipping through the movie channels last night and saw the endings of the new Star Trek movie, 300, and the start of Men of Honor.  I was flipping back and forth between the first two, and didn't like either.  300 offended me in particular as a (hobby) historian, and the slow-mo attempt at "coolness" was pathetic.  Star Trek was meh, but then I have never been a Trekkie.  Men of Honor looked really good, but then I fell asleep.
