I'd put myself in that pool too, since I'm pretty much Frodo's political double.

I didn't vote -- I think any intraparty trashing of the different ideological wings within is a waste of time.  So Frodo doesn't line up 100% with Michael Moore or Cindy Sheehan (just stereotypical examples, folks, don't jump my ass) ... so what?  He's a part of the Democratic Party and is lending his voice to it; I think it's very counterproductive if anyone tears him down for doing so.  The same type of groupthink gave the Senate to the Democrats for a brief period from 2001-2003 when the GOP crowded out Jim Jeffords.

He's an asset.  Liberals don't have to agree with him all the time, but his opinions and contributions to the Democratic Party are every bit as valid as anyone on the far left.

Yes, actually, some of them do.  I don't understand why many in the liberal wing have such a problem with Populists.  I mean, c'mon.  They're not Republicans!  Where I live, Democrats are practically the polar opposite of me: Social issues conservative, economic issues liberal.  But these populists are some of the best office-holders, and I support them because they're better than those damned Arkansas Republicans!

I'm a liberal and Frodo's conservativeness pisses me off. Ebowed is into all that NRA, pro-life stuff yet he's not nearly as cranky.
