I'd go for Nym Smiley. For a longtime, he seemed the standard bearer of moderate liberalism. He's sure one of the guys I miss around here

A special mension to nclib Smiley. He's fairly left but, I've never known him hurl projectile abuse at  Democratic 'moderates'

Frodo says some cool stuff sometimes and I don't agree with Harry most of the time, but he's fun.

Nclib, he's definitly far left, but I've never thought of him as really whacko, disrespectful to any other grop, or a stain on the Democratic party in any way, shape or form. If the liberal wing of the party were run by guys like him, it'd be in much better shape, and much more respected.

Gabu, TCash101, phknrocket1k, akno21, nclib (really a sensible liberal who I appreciate most definitly for not attacking populists like myself like some of our other liberals here).

Jfern probably gets much worse treatment than he deserves.  I never understood the whole deal about the coin thing, really.

thefactor

I'll also put in a positive mention for nclib.  Though we agree on very little, he is very respectful and pleasant to talk to.

Flyers is a great guy to talk to.  We've spoken on the telephone.  We don't agree on lots of things, but I know where he's coming from, and he is always open to give and take on issues.  Different life experiences produce different ways of looking at the world.

Thanks to everyone who mentioned me. There are many to choose from, but I'd say Akno21, thefactor, Lewis Trondheim, TexasGurl, or Speed of Sound.

If we're including former members, I'd say migrendel.

Why are all these people saying nclib always trashing people like me and jfern and who are almost identical ideologically?
