None of those names are very suprising; quite an ideological range there, although the media won't notice this

The following Labour M.P's abstained (this would probably have included me if I were an M.P, btw)

John Austin (Erith & Thamesmead)
Clive Betts (Sheffield Attercliffe)

Sir Peter Soulsby (Leicester South)
Dr Gavin Strang (Edinburgh East)
Graham Stringer (Manchester Blackley)
Gerry Sutcliffe (Bradford South)
Rudi Vis (Finchley & Golders Green)

Again, quite an ideological range. And several Ministers.

...and here are the Tories that abstained...

Michael Ancram (Devizes)

Christopher Chope (Christchurch)
Geoffrey Clifton-Brown (Cotswold)
Sir Patrick Cormack (Staffordshire South)

David Mundell (Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale)
Robert Walter (Dorset North)
Miss Ann Widdecombe (Maidstone & The Weald)

Again... quite a range... Wets and much of the hard Right...

She sends her kids to fee paying schools. Apparently she loves the concept of "school choice" when it applies to her, but not to anyone else.
