In order to appear on the ballot, candidates must declare their intention to run no later than 18:00 EST on March 28.
In order for party endorsements for major parties without a candidate who is a member to appear on the ballot, they must be listed here no later than 18:00 EST on March 29.
This is the old District 1 consisting of the District of Columbia and the States of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Vermont.
The winner will hold office until 12:00 EST on May 5.

Well, I'm running. Do I have to declare it again?

You have to declare it here to appear on the ballot, and you just did.

Candidate declarations are closed.
Earl Andrew Washburn of New York is the only candidate who will appear on the ballot.
Persons residing in District 1 who wish to have write-in votes counted for them have until 18:00 EST on April 2 to make such a desire known by posting here.
Major parties that wish to endorse Earl or the NOTA option have until 18:00 EST on March 29 to make such a preference known.

Party endorsements are closed.
By virtue of being the only member of his party to run, Earl Andrew Washburn has been assumed to have received its endorsement.
No other endorsements were received.
Persons residing in District 1 who wish to have write-in votes counted for them have until 18:00 EST on April 2 to make such a desire known by posting here.
