Prudery is a subjective concept. What's prudish to one person might not be so to another. The two of you shouldn't act as if there's such a thing as objective prudery. Wink

Prudery is not a subjective concept, Dibble.  Whether it is 'good' or 'bad' is subjective.

Then give me an exact, objective list of what constitutes what is prudish and what isn't - one that is not based on your subjective opinion or the subjective opinion of any other person.

Just because something is a relative observation does not mean that it is subjective.

It has nothing to do with relative observation! How is what constitutes prudery not a subjective opinion? What one person considers prudery another might not, exactly the same as what one person might consider moral another might not. If it's not subjective, then again, I challenge you to point out the exact dividing line as to what constitutes prudery and what does not.

Negative.  Sex should be more acceptable, and talked about by individuals-not Hollywood trying to make people feel insecure.

The dictionary says otherwise.

It depends on the situation, and on the definition of course. The word itself carries a pejorative connotation, so by definition someone calling someone else a prude means they have a negative opinion of them, but much of what is called prudeish by some is in my opinion not bad, or at least not as bad as it's made out to be.

Neutral.  SURPRISE!  I could care less how one lives their life just as long as they don't try to force their prudery/religious beliefs on me.  Opinion of religious zealots who try to tell everyone they're goign to hell- very negative of course.

The (insufferable) French novelist Michel de Houellebecq has theorized, somewhat perceptively, that the 1960s sexual revolution was little more than liberalization of the sexual marketplace, and that, with all liberalization schemes, the end result has been a well-satisfied minority who, by looks, wealth, or sheer physical prowess, can easily attain one sexual conquest after another, while the discontented majority ... well ... sits at home and masturbates to downloaded Internet porn, or at least satisfies himself with one or a handful of 4s and 6s.

You would actually benefit from prudery.

Back in the 1950s, if you publicly courted a girl, and gained the approval of the girls parents (usually through bribery), then the girl would be honor-bound to at least go to third base with you.
