Kenya - after your typical Revolutionary One-Party Republic phase, which got pretty dreadful toward Moi's last years, it became both more democratic and more unstable. The democracy might not stay, but the instability probably will. Tongue

Another thing I remembered about it: Back in 1st grade we had a day where every grade got assigned a country and we just only studied that country that day. And our country was Kenya, the first time I, or probably anyone else in the class had heard of it. From what I remember we just got told things like their schools don't have floors and only dirt and often not electricity.

Yeah, I once heard from a woman who went there on some damn student thing and had to walk through a riot, get punched in the face, and walk on without doing anything, because otherwise the rioters would've fallen on her and her group...
