Yes, let's reunite our city by insinuating that white people don't belong in New Orleans.

You guys do know that by chocolate he meant Whites and Blacks. White being the milk, and black being the cocoa. At least that's what he said.

That was what he said after the fact.  This is what he said initially:

"I don't care what people are saying Uptown [where most of the white people live] or wherever they are. This city will be chocolate at the end of the day.  This city will be a majority African-American city. It's the way God wants it to be."

But anyway, I don't really know if Louisiana would ever elect a brother-sister pair.  Any thoughts on that?

Didn't they already do just that?  They elected Mitch lieutenant-governor and Mary senator.

I never particularly understood why they're rebuilding the place.  It's as if they just completely forgot why New Orleans was at great risk in the first place...
