How can we have a survey going up and down on whether or not you will definitely vote agiainst someone.

You know in your heart if you will or will not vote for her, Most democrats will vote for her against the old fashioned republican racist George Allen even weak Mitt Romney.

Republicans want to bi*ch about hillary then let them. She will do a better job than Bush. Thats a fact. They will call her a communist, a liar, a bi*ch, a psychopath, a traitor, a large smelly piece of sh*t etc. but the majority of americans will be disgusted by it and will vote her president if she wins the democratic nomination

There are plenty of examples of people changing there minds about what their opinion will be in the future.  People say they "definitely won't vote for" a candidate, and then their opinion of the candidate changes, and now they're willing to vote for them.  Or you have lots of people saying that they will support impeaching Bill Clinton if evidence comes out indicating that he lied about his affair with Lewinsky.  Then that evidence comes out, and they're still not in favor of impeachment.  Or the people who said that they wouldn't support the war in Iraq without UN authorization, and then the war starts without UN authorization, and a majority are still in favor of it.

People are very bad at predicting what their opinions will be in the future.  I always thought the "will definitely vote for / against" question was one of the dumber poll questions in use.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again; Hilarry Clinton CAN NOT win in 2008. She has burned many bridges on the left with her social flip-flops and her public out cry against violent video games. That and she has no room to gain from disaffected conservatives. Her socialist health care policies, her gun control  policies, and her flip-flops on immigration have turned her into public enemy number one within the conservative.

I highly doubt that she'll even get the nomination - all I can really say is - Remember Howard Dean.

She's not my favoriate candidate, but I would never claim that she can't win the general election.  For those who care about keeping censorship off the Iternet, she is co-sponsoring the net neutrality bill.

Isn't net neutrality just about preventing corporations from being able to pay for having their web site come up faster?

I really think that this should be a moot point for Democrats.  There is no reason to nominate Hillary when there simply are better candidates out there.

I actually read a report somewhere that Hillary actually fears George Allen the most.  I saw the article a couple of weeks back on realclearpolitics.com, but I can't remember the exact title of the article.  Just thought I would share how she fears the "old fashioned racist."
What I wish Rasmussen would have done was break down the "Depends On Who She Runs Against" category.  I would have loved to see hypothetical matchups between Clinton vs Allen/Romney/Rice/McCain/Gulliani.
While most Democrats (and even most Republicans) are convinced she will win the nomination hands down, don't be so sure about that.  My opinion on this has changed recently, but I think that Hillary will get some tough competition from Evan Bayh if he decides to run.  While we hear people say that the Republicans need more moderate voices, I think Bayh would appeal to several more moderates and independents than Clinton would.  Only time will tell.

The truth is that regardless of what people say, it ALWAYS depends on who the opponent is. The most hard core Hillary lovers and Hillary haters probably make up 25% of the electorate each at most. Sure other people have opinons about her, but we will really know nothing until she is matched up against specific people.
