I wish I could answer this question, but I don't know enough about the Mughal Empire. You need some more info for us to make a decision.

All that gold and all those spices, early on. Of course, at that time just parts of India were colonized - the balance of power hadn't tipped towards the Europeans in such a grotesque fashion yet.
