Restoring Atlasia's Faith, Charleston South Carolina

*STANDING NEXT TO NIXON NOW AT A RALLY IN CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA*
Mr. Nixon and I would like to thank the city of Charleston for their hospitality. I believe that Atlasia has grown so much over the last two years that people have forgotten the fun Atlasia can bring to the table. Nixon Now and I have a vision for a better atlasia. First, balance the budget to stimulate the economy and do our best to get a national surplus. Secondly, restore faith in Atlasia's governmental system and third, enforce moral and family values for all.
We ask for your support. Let's bring a fresh start to Atlasia. Let's bring new hope and optimism. Let's bring Naso/Nixon to Nyman!
Thank you all.

Serious question: what will you do to balance the budget?

What sort of 'moral and family' values do you propose and will they be exclusive and restrictive?

You say that you want to restore faith in Atlasia's current governmental system which leads me to believe you would like it to remain as it is yet you express desire for a "fresh start". Please elaborate on what exactly a "fresh start" could be and at what it could be if it does not include a change in government style.
A new, more conservative way in Atlasia. Less hostility through posts, a kinder, gentler nation.

Sorry man, but it sounds like a crock to me. Every family is different, so how can you enforce "family values"?

A presidency can change a country. I hope the conservative Naso-Nixon Administration is able to bring about a kinder nation through enforcement of conservative principle values.

It generally helps to have an idea of what you're specifically going to do before giving a broad overview of what you will accomplish by doing so.

Which conservative values do you speak of? Economic freedom, lower taxes, and more free trade? or Fewer female reproduction rights, discrimination against non-traditional lifestyles, telling us what we can and can't say on TV and radio, telling us what we can do behind closed doors between consenting adults, and telling us what we can and can't put into our own bodies?

I think I should point out to the people here who are relatively new that social issues the such as limiting the right to an abortion or limiting the rights of an unborn child, marriage, and the death penalty just to name a few are more regional issues rather than federal issues, though some of these issues are now making their way to the federal level in dealing the fedeal territory that is not part of a region (that no one can legally register in).

The problem is; Naso should know that too- so why bang on about moral values when social issues are under regional control?

For the most part, social issues should be, and, indeed, are determined at the regional level of government; with the following exceptions:
1) Where such matters pertain federal territories; and
2) With regards to gun rights since these are enshrined in the First Amendment of the Second Constitution
That said when a candidate talks of moral values in a federal campaign, they may just be emphasising their own personal morality as opposed to the 'rights' and 'wrongs' of certain social issues
