The Christian Democratic Party will hold a presidential primary beginning at 12 noon, EST, on June 8th, and it will last until 12 noon on June 11th. In this primary, you shall decide whether to vote for either the Yates/Dave Hawk or True Democrat/Supersoulty tickets. The vote shall be FPTP -the ticket with the most votes wins. No write-ins will be accepted, nor can you vote 'none-of-the-above' or 'NOTA' -you must make a choice. When you vote, please include both the presidential and vice-presidential candidates. Below are examples of votes that I will count as valid:
'Yates/Dave Hawk'
or
'True Democrat/Supersoulty'
Don't mix-and-match various candidates in a manner different than the examples above to your liking or preference. If you do, I will disqualify your ballot. Keep to the examples I have put in quotation marks, and do not deviate from them.

The voting booth has closed, and given that WMS voted past the deadline, his vote will unfortunately not be counted.
Here are the results:
True Democrat/Supersoulty
: 4
Yates/Dave Hawk: 2
Abstain: 2
Out of the eight legitimate votes cast, four voted for True Democrat/Supersoulty, two voted for Yates/Dave Hawk, and two voted to abstain. Accordingly, as is plain to see, True Democrat and Supersoulty have won the primary and the backing of the Christian Democratic Party in their quest for the presidency. I hereby congratulate them on their victory, and I would also like to express my gratitude to all those who took the time to cast their votes and make their voices heard through the ballot box.
