In an unpublished poll from an unknown pollster...

For all we know, they could have explained why you shouldn't vote for Murkowski first.

It's internet slang.  It's a varation on the word "owned."  It means when someone has lost big time or suffered a big defeat.  They say, "that person got owned."  You can use owned or pwned or a number of other variations.

A poll that shows him in third place in the Republican primary.

Still betting on him being reelected?

And have Lisa take his spot. She's looking for something new to do these days.

1) It was sarcasm.
2) We don't need Lisa in politics at all. Too bad Mike Miller couldn't win two years ago.

Look, I can believe Murkowski is behind.  But 18%?

This combined with the pollster being pretty much unknown (and rather shady if I do say) makes me less than enthusiastic.

Not suprising, he is the second least popular governor in the country. Fishy or not, the poll numbers aren't really that astronomical for Murkowski.

Are the other Republican candidates in that poll actually running or just hypotheticals?  It'd be funny to see him finish third as an incumbent in the primary, although I'd like to see him win the primary so Knowles sledgehammers him in the general.  Knowles v. the other candidates is a tossup race.

Not necessarily. It does leave a vast amount of undecideds, but the Alaska GOP is in a lot of pain after the Murkowski administration. I would say about 75% of the undecideds will go to Knowles in this election. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty confident.

Well that was informative. Care to elaborate? Or were you just trying to make the Comedy Goldmine thread?

You're the one who said Knowles had no chance against him.
