Progressive/Conservative Score 8- Moderate Progressive
Capitalist Purist/Social Capitalist Score 4- Capitalist Purist
Libertarian/Authoritarian Score 0- Libertarian
Pacifist/Militarist Score 4- Moderate Pacifist

You are a Libertarian

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I clicked "yes" on the vouchers question, although I have some issues with how vouchers are being done in this country. And ultimately, they're just a band aid solution. But I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't want to give my kid some kind of opportunity to escape a chronically failing public school.

Total Inefficiency: 25.5%

What it means: A high inefficiency score indicates that you favor policies that make people more unhappy than they could be otherwise.

Your score breaks down as follows:

Authoritarian: 30%
What it means: A high score under authoritarian indicates that you advocate policies that inefficiently restrict the rights
of individual people, placing these rights under government control instead. You believe that in many cases the government knows
better than individuals what is good for them.

Anarchic: 20%
What it means: A high score under anarchic indicates that you are probably a stereotypical extremist libertarian. You
believe that people ought to be inefficiently within their rights to perform certain actions, even if those actions make others worse
off without compensation. You have arbitrarily selected certain behaviors as unquestionable natural rights and the impact they have
on people who disagree is of no consequence.

Your position on the chart is shown as a blue dot. The lower left corner indicates the highest efficiency. The arcs indicate
progressively worse efficiency with the upper right corner being the most inefficient possible based on the questions asked.

Results for JC …

Take the test

Party preference

Greens Australian Democrats Labor Party Family First Liberal Party National Party One Nation
61.2%  57.9%  55.4%  44.6%  35.6%  26.1%  54%

This test gives an indication of the parties that align with your views. Parties with higher scores have a policy outlook that is more aligned with your views.

Because your highest score is less than 66.6%, it suggests you have significant areas of disagreement with each of the parties. Indeed, you may not be satisfied with any of the political parties in the Australian polity.

Identifying the party that best aligns with your views is not an exact science. You have more than one party within an error margin of 10 percentage points of the highest score. The higher scored parties are highlighted above. Any of these parties may actually better align with your views than the highest scored party. Or, your political preferences may swing between these higher scored parties.

Notes: People choose to vote for a political party for many reasons, not just because their ideas and ideals align with those of their chosen party. In addition to a party’s philosophical position, many voters are also interested in the experience of the candidates, and the party’s leadership style and management capability. This tool did not test such factors.

Some political parties may have policy outlooks to which your are fundamentally opposed. Even if you agree with that party on other matters you would never vote for them because of your points of disagreement. This test cannot detect those parties for which you would never vote. Because it simply ‘averages’ your areas of agreement and disagreement, the test will give a score that is higher than you may like for those parties. If you have already made up your mind to never vote for a particular party, ignore its score from this test.

Political outlook

Your broad political orientation score is -19.3%, which equates to a ‘Centre Left’ position

Economic policy

Your economic policy score score is -20.7%. This equates to a ‘Centre Left’ position

Social policy

Your social policy score is 3.5%. This equates to a ‘Centre’ position

Traditional values

Your traditional values score is -84.2%. This equates to a ‘Far Left’ position

Southern Patriot - One Nation's pretty much gone, I'd guess you're a Liberal moderate. You're right on economic issues, but more moderate on traditional values.

Funny thing on the vajoe candidate collection site. There is a list of what percentage of people taking the test matched up with each candidate.

# Gravel - 15.81%
# Huckabee - 12.85%
# Giuliani - 10.59%
# Romney - 9.16%
# Kucinich - 8.46%
# Cox - 6.89%
# Biden - 6.63%
# Clinton - 5.43%
# Obama - 4.82%
# Dodd - 3.55%
# Hunter - 3.54%
# Tancredo - 2.27%
# Paul - 2.11%
# Tommy Thompson - 2.01%
# Fred Thompson - 1.96%
# Richardson - 1.37%
# Edwards - 1.09%
# Brownback - 0.94%
# Mccain - 0.52%

Even if more Democrats have taken this than Republicans, I still find it surprising that McCain is on the bottom.
