Wow, jfern is much more moderate than I would have guessed (maybe it's because of the bad wording).  I'll run MODU (D) vs. StatesRights (R)

ACK!  I guess the program can't handle "Independent," huh?  hehehe

Wallnofer/Cheney 48% 291 EV
MODU/Edwards 47% 247 EV
Nader 3%

WI was the closest state.  StatesRights was able to make some headway into VT and MA.  MODU came relatively close in IN and NC.

Minnesota makes no sense.

Well, it is a simulation based off of generic answers to a survey.  If they went by our actual positions, the whole map could be completely different.

Could? I'd only win the old Confederacy and that's about it. Tongue

HAHAHA . . . true.  It would be interesting to see how the nation would react to some of my platforms in real life.  Almost makes you want to run for the office just to see what kind of feedback you get.  Smiley

That does it....I want to run against opebo.

Not a contest. Still, opebo overperformed in the southwest and came close in Texas.

Me vs. Opebo

Me - 55% - 415 EVs
Opebo -  42% - 123 EVs

An intresting election, I guess. Opebo had a strong surge at the end, considering that in the second to last poll he was only leading in Massachucettes, Rhode Island, and DC. I played as Gary Nolan and didn't interfere.

See my map of me vs Dave above Smiley It could be something similar. I will, if no one else will do it, try and get my weary online friend to run it Smiley

it would be similar...but slightly different.

Our homestate advantages might throw things off...(I might still lose PA to him but do better in the Northeast).

Should I?

Yes Cheesy

I've been playing about with the positions everyone has selected. I have given Left positions 1 point, Centre 3 and Right 5. I've only done the responses on the 1st page so far.

Earl 1.89
Boss Tweed 2.33
Nym 2.33
Preston 3.00
Frodo 3.11
Josh 3.11
Hawk 3.17
Bullmoose 3.23
Berger 3.33
Afleitch 3.61
Fezzy 3.89
Jedi 3.89
Emsworth 4.00

As you can see; the scores are heavily weighted when it comes to economic issues, see Emsworth and Josh for example.

No, it has to be downloaded.  I've had the demo for two years now and by changing the election dates in the scenarios you can play the game with the demo, albeit with shorter campaigns.
