Pinochet -at least he voluntarily stepped down from power.  Spain had to wait until Franco was six-feet under before democratizing.

Today the Federal Republic of Germany is as democratic as the United States of America, why do you call it fascist?

If you're talking about history, no problem.

Germans have commited the most terrible crime in the history of mankind - the Holocaust.
We have payed for our crimes since 1945, and today all offenders are old men or have allready met each other in hell.
Fascist and extrem right-winged parties get now foot on the ground in Germany today.

It would be a shame if we hadn't learned out of it, but we have!

So please don't blame my country for things that happened over 60 years ago.

Yes, and Stalin was just a labor activist.

No Hitler was a populist. He was not economically right-wing in any sense of the word unless everyone who is to the right of Lenin is considered "right-wing". By all descriptions of populism, both as a movement based upon appealing to the masses and as a political philosophy that stands for social authoritarianism and economic control, Hitler's philosophy and political tactics match. While not a good description, since his populism is the extreme extrapolation of it, it comes closer than the phrase far-right does.

I guess state control of industry is a right-wing position.

Communists... Germany's political parties are all communist. Well, except for the CDU and the FDP, who are only socialists.

True. To be precise, control of the few is a right-wing position.
